We have been managing oil tankers since 1989, and chemical tankers since 2003, with our teams ashore and at sea well versed in the operation and management of both types of tankers.
Within the marine operations team, we have dedicated operators who support operational activities on board the chemical tanker fleet. All chemical tanker operators are ex-Master Mariners, with substantial sailing experience on SuS chemical tankers, including hands-on experience in the carriage and care of a wide range of chemical cargoes. Emphasis is placed on cargo stowage plans, preparation and execution of tank cleaning plans, matters related to loading, carriage precautions, and discharging etc. The team also oversee SIRE, CDI, and other third-party inspections to ensure tradability of vessel is maintained, and ships remain acceptable to relevant oil majors and charterers at all times.
Established Relationships with Oil Majors
We do business with most oil-chemical majors including bp, Chevron, Shell, ExxonMobil, equinor, enoc, eni, Petrobras, Indemitsu, Vitol, Dow, Koch and Cargill, and are regularly screened for business, whenever proposed commercially. We are not on technical hold with any of these majors but are very well acquainted with their vetting and terminal requirements.
Technology & Scale
We capitalise on the size of
our fleet to improve overall performance via
knowledge sharing and the harnessing of technology
partnerships that increase efficiencies and provide
our clients with the data they want in near
real-time. We are also able to strengthen supplier
relationships and foster more transparent
negotiations across all categories of the supply
chain.
